Eco Council

Eco-council

We have been awarded a number of Green flags now since becoming part of the Eco-school programme in 2011. We work hard as a council and as a school in developing a more Eco-friendly approach to life in Eden P.S.

Our Action Plans may change from year to year but we are always focussed on:

  1. Litter: We want to keep our school grounds litter free. We want everyone to put their rubbish in the bin and help pick up any rubbish they see around our grounds. We encourage our pupils to keep their local area tidy too.
  2. Waste: We try to recycle paper and plastic as much as possible in school.
  3. Water: We try our best to save water and we make sure taps are turned off when not in use.
  4. Active Travel: We have active travel days throughout the year to help reduce pollution and congestion around the school.
