On Monday P6 were able to enjoy a fun-filled 'STEAM' day at Carrickfergus Grammar School. The children were able to programme a micro-bit and build a jitterbug in technology. Some of the children were able to use bunsen burners to carry out experiments in chemistry and they attended a maths class to complete a number of challenges. Others were able to create fish in art and took part in team challenges in PE, focusing on a wide range of STEAM topics. Have a look at some of our photos. It has given some of us a real excitement for what is to come in our next school.
