P6 have been working really hard with a partner to create a Viking home using Minecraft Education Edition. The children had to plan what their house would look like inside and out and use their knowledge of what is inside a Viking home. The children then had the opportunity to develop and use their thinking skills and problem solving skills to create a suitable Viking home. It was great to see children learning from their peers and the open ended activity, allowed the children to be creative in how their house looked and many were able to extend their learning and design skills by creating a farm or adding in a blacksmith's or other building.
