Mrs Heggarty, Mrs Daly and Mrs Donaldson accompanied the P5 children to the Ulster Museum on Wednesday 5th June.
Everyone met an archaeologist who told them lots of fascinating facts about Ancient Egypt and allowed them to see real artefacts from this period and to even hold some of them!
Having the opportunity to see Takabuti, (a real Ancient Egyptian mummy) to get some ‘hands on’ fun in the Discover History room and in the Nature Zone, spend their lunchtime outside in Botanic Park and finally to do a little bit of shopping, meant that everyone went home tired but happy!
A great day was had by all!! 😊
