Today we had a great time learning outdoors. P1 spent most of the morning outdoors and you can see their wonderful poppies in a separate post. P2 were out making and recognising numbers from 10-20. P3 made 'Amazing Animals' using leaves which they found on their walk. P4 explored different trees by making bark rubbings. P5 took their art outdoors and drew castles and dragons using chalk on the playground. P6 had to find matching cards, to finish their topic of Digestion. They enjoyed helping other groups and the Daily Mile after they had matched their own cards. P7 put their maths skills to use outdoors and worked out area of rectangles and triangles which they could find in the school grounds, as well as calculating volume of some 3D shapes.
