P1-7 have been taking part in a pilot programme run by Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke. This has focused on including 'active breaks' within the school day. The children have been enjoying getting time to rest, relax, challenge their brains and hearts and reset mentally, between and during tasks throughout the day. We have just finished week four of the programme and look forward to the rest of the 'active breaks' we can take part in.
