On Friday 8th March - International Day for Women - the boys and girls in P1-3 invited lots of much loved ladies into school for a huge treat!
The assembly hall was decorated with lots of banners and beautiful pictures of mummies, grannies, childminders and other special people for everyone to admire. Tables were laid with gorgeous buns and cakes and the cups of coffee and tea were appreciated by all. Children from P7 were fabulous hosts and Mr Smyth’s renditions on the piano added the final touch to such a lovely occasion!
After the treats, these special ladies visited their children in the P1-3 classrooms and got to participate in plenty of fun and interactive activities.
Thank you to all of the staff and children for making such a wonderful celebration possible. We hope that the special visitors realised just how much they are valued by their ‘little ones’. 😊
