Today in Eden Primary School, we had a "Break the Rules Day". The school council thought this would be a good way to raise money for charity and the school. Each child paid 50p to not have a Friday test, 50p to sit where they would like to for the day and 50p to wear their normal clothes into school. At the end of the day the grand sum of £300.30 was collected. We are absolutely delighted at the support from all the pupils and parents and we will be splitting the money between Stand By Me and our school funds. As an extra the teacher's also paid to break the rules and wore their casual clothes to school, as well as putting a movie on between break and lunch for the children. Great fun had by all for such a good cause.
