September 27th-1st Ocober saw the school taking part in Bike to School Week. All children were encouraged to cycle, scoot or walk to school, where possible. The children made many active journeys this week and also were involved in completing acitivites in class with an active travel focus. Children were able to colour in bikes, discuss safe travel on bikes and share safe routes, as well as creating posters following discussions. Some also were able to ride bikes and scooters in the playground as part of PE activities. Others were able to research different countries to cycle through and planned what they would need to take with them - helmets were numer one on the list.
