Welcome to Year Three!  Mrs. Newell is our teacher and we are also very blessed to have Mrs. Seaman and Mrs. Mahood as our Learning Assistants.  Our classroom is a very creative, relaxed, safe and happy place to be!  Year 3 is a very busy, dynamic class.  There are 30 children altogether this year.  We aim to develop the children’s confidence and potential through different teaching and learning styles.  Our classroom environment is one of inclusivity.  There is a place and space for everyone!  The children work individually, in pairs and in groups.  This enables them to work co-operatively, develop their skills of Talking and Listening, and gives them the opportunity to practise what they have learned in PDMU.  Our World Around Us topics include; Amazing Animals, Let's Celebrate, Pirates, Hospitals; Now and Then and Space!  We absolutely love to learn our number facts through singing!  Jack Hartmann is our favourite YouTube channel!  We especially love Friday in school because we get to do Art!  To find out what we are up to, keep visiting our website by clicking on the News Section for Primary 3!  Come and see our learning!
